Forklift/Crane Operator
JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY:
This hands on position, duties include transfer of materials to designated production line in a timely manner. Accurate record keeping. Storage of received items as well as full rotation of stock.
Inventory management. Cycle counts, basic computer knowledge.
Grade 5 position.
Shift Monday – Friday 6 am- 2:30 pm. Training period.
After 1 month Shift Monday to Friday 9 am.- 5:30pm.
Overtime as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work as a team player.
The ability to follow directions and processes.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Forklift Certificate.
Crane Operation Certificate.
Power Jack Operator.
Positive Attitude.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate Forklift/crane in a safe efficient manner.
Ensure daily workload is completed within the required time frame.
Inventory management.
Keep the work cell operating in a safe and efficient manner.
AUTHORITY:
To reject product due to quality defects
To refuse unsafe workClosing Date: 8/12/2010
