Login help
The main login screen for My Secure Gienow has several important parts to it. Each of these parts will be discussed in further detail while explaining additional information.

The first thing you will encounter is the "User Name:". This is the name
that was issued to you by Gienow.

The next important field you will encounter is the "Password:" field.
This is originally a password generated by Gienow, although you are strongly
encouraged to change your password the first time you log in so it's something
that you will easily remember.

The next two things give you additional functionality.
If you forget your password you can enter your username and then click on "I forgot my password" to have it automatically sent to your email address.
The other feature is if you time out on one of the web pages, when you don't do anything for 30 minutes, you will have the option to go back to the web page you came from. This feature may take you to the starting page of the application you were in if the system security does not allow you to go all the way back without entering more information in.

The last notable piece of information is if an exception occurs. The
following is an example if you enter an invalid User Name or Password.
This spot is also used to provide information if the database is unavailable or
some other error occurs when trying to log into the system.

If you are having troubles logging in to My Secure Gienow please try clearing your browser cache.
To do this in Internet Explorer:
- Click on 'Tools' menu
- Select 'Internet Options...'
- You should open a new window with the 'General' tab selected. In the middle of this form there is a section called 'Temporary Internet files'
- Click the button 'Delete Files...'
- Click the 'OK' button
- This will clear out any corrupted temporary internet files you may have. If you have never done this before this may take some time to complete
- Close your browser. Once you come back to Gienow's site you should be able to log in properly
