Gienow Clad Windows

There are clear benefits of selecting either a Metal Clad Wood window, or a maintenance-free Vinyl window. Until now, choosing one has meant that you give up the benefits of the other.
At last, there is a product that will give you the benefits of both styles, all with a proven track record of field performance and reliability: the Harmony Series window from Gienow.

Engineered to Perform Proprietary Design

Triple Glazed Sealed Unit

CLADDING SYSTEM
Exterior cladding system features no visible sealants or fasteners, and once installed, no vinyl is visible on the exterior. All cladding can be replaced
if damaged after installation.

STEEL REINFORCEMENT
All configurations are individually engineered to perform, with steel
reinforcement added within vinyl profiles.
There is no need to apply “add on” reinforcement, which interferes with
blinds.

CLADDING DESIGNED TO ADDRESS THERMAL CONCERNS
Harmony windows are designed so that
thermal performance is equivalent to or exceeds a traditional vinyl window.
Extruded gaskets keep metal away from glass surfaces. Air boundaries
are created between aluminum and vinyl for thermal performance and
to accommodate for expansion and
contraction.

CONTINUOUS HEAD AND SILL
Harmony windows feature a continuous head and sill design. A continuous head and sill insures
a water tight frame, a continuous nailing fin, and stronger configurations
compared to mulled systems.

INTEGRATED DRIP LIP ON MULLIONS
Horizontal mullions sit proud of vertical mullions and contain a drip lip
feature to shed water away from the window below. An optional drip lip is at the sill of the window is available.

COMPATIBILITY WITH CLAD OR VINYL PRODUCTS
Since Harmony windows are made from a combination of metal clad and vinyl components, you can combine Harmony windows with either clad or vinyl windows and maintain a similar
appearance. Add color to the front elevation, or address moisture concerns by using a vinyl interior in a bathroom,
all without compromising your homes appearance.
